Informed Consent in Research Setting
Informed consent for research of human subject is also bounded by ethical codes and regulations. Informed consent provides a potential participant with sufficient information in a language that is easily understood so voluntary decision can be made either to participate or not in a study.
When faced with complex descriptions or multiple pages of information to join a clinical trial or a study, we may get different responses from the potential participants.

Balancing these opposing views is difficult. Regardless, informed consent is a central part of the interaction between a researcher and a research participant because it is one of the core fundamentals in the ethical conduct of research.
